Program:"Native Plants and Wildlife"

Speaker:Mikaela Boley works as a Senior Agent Associate for the University of Maryland Extension Service in Talbot County . She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Horticulture from the University of Minnesota and interned at Adkins Arboretum before moving permanently to Easton. In 2017, she finished her master’s in applied Entomology from UMC-College Park.

Division I – Horticulture
Class 1. Standard Daffodils – up to 3 entries per class, must be different cultivars:
  a.Division 1 – Trumpet
  b.Division 2 – Large Cup
  c.Division 3 – Small Cup
  d.Division 4 – Double
         1. One bloom to a stem
         2. More than one bloom to a stem
  e.Division 5 – Triandrus
  f.Division 6 – Cyclamineus
  g.Division 7 – Jonquilla and Apodanthus
  h.Division 8 – Tazetta
  i.Division 9 – Poeticus
  j.Division 10 –Bulbocodium cultivars
  k.Division 11 –Split Corona
  l.Division 12 –Any other daffodil of garden origin

Division II – Design

Class 1. A Bolt Out of the Blue: Spatial Thrust Design a Creative Design consisting of two (2) parallel placements of similar components. HB pg. 75, Section N 

Class 2. A Sunny Spring Day: Designer’s Choice using two floral design techniques as described on pgs. 81-83. This class is eligible for Companion Design (see p. 23) HB pgs. 73-79, VII, Design Types –
