Owner – Annapolis Native Landscape
Chris studied sustainable landscape design at George Washington University, and served for 3 years on the board of the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council. She has led her own landscape design business since 2006. Three of her clients’ landscapes were featured in the 2018 Eastern Shore garden tour, “Celebrating Natives: A Fall Garden Tour.” Chris was Lead Designer at the Native Landscape Design Center at Adkins Arboretum for 6 years. She has collaborated with numerous homeowners to design beautiful, intriguing solutions to landscape problems. Spring brings fresh optimism to gardeners every year…but then often by September we feel we’ve lost the war to the weeds! Chris will share ideas for keeping a better garden-life balance. She’ll demonstrate how to utilize pro design techniques to help a garden look better even when you can’t get out there to tidy it up. And she will share ideas about thoughtful plant selection—particularly by using beautiful native plants well suited for the conditions in our landscapes. A Functional Table/Tray for One staged on table space 22” wide by 30” deep covered to the floor with a white tablecloth provided by DGC.
For a TABLE design, designer may provide additional table coverings if desired (but NOT for TRAY Design !).
All components of a TRAY design must be contained within the Tray; no additional table coverings permitted. - (updated May 22, 2023)

color and photo surface finish. The committee will supply an 8” black wood easel for
each entry.
