Speaker: Christina Pax
     Owner – Annapolis Native Landscape
Chris studied sustainable landscape design at George Washington University, and served for 3 years on the board of the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council. She has led her own landscape design business since 2006. Three of her clients’ landscapes were featured in the 2018 Eastern Shore garden tour, “Celebrating Natives: A Fall Garden Tour.” Chris was Lead Designer at the Native Landscape Design Center at Adkins Arboretum for 6 years. She has collaborated with numerous homeowners to design beautiful, intriguing solutions to landscape problems. Spring brings fresh optimism to gardeners every year…but then often by September we feel we’ve lost the war to the weeds! Chris will share ideas for keeping a better garden-life balance. She’ll demonstrate how to utilize pro design techniques to help a garden look better even when you can’t get out there to tidy it up. And she will share ideas about thoughtful plant selection—particularly by using beautiful native plants well suited for the conditions in our landscapes.
